Two good friends of mine, Steve and Ellisif are getting married this week in Ellisif’s home fishing village in Northern Norway. Now living in York, together they run the excellent Anglo/Norwegian/music/real ale pub The Fulford Arms. Ellisif has only been in York and England for a couple of years but (perhaps unsurprisingly) she speaks better English than me. Steve’s Norwegian is also better than mine – although to be fair, that isn’t saying much – But he is working on it!

Their wedding seriously sounds like it could be the best day ever (complete with special guest The Midnight Sun, freshly caught seafood BBQ and traditional Norwegian outfits to boot!) I would be photographing it like a shot… except for the small fact that it clashes with my own wedding! (So i can’t complain too much!)

Anyway, before they left the country for the land of the midnight sun we popped out one evening for a stroll and some piccies with the two of them and their two dogs: Maggie; a lurcher and Noah; a greyhound/horse cross (seriously, Noah is the biggest dog i have EVER seen).
