Justin Townes Earle, son of Steve Earle and named in homage to the late, great Mr. Van Zandt, called into York to play a show at The Duchess last week.

JTE is pretty much the real deal; A brilliant writer, singer and performer of country and blues he also has a healthy dose of punk about him too. His life, like his dad’s, has also been a pretty ‘adult dose’. But currently off the booze, he was on top form (and is also, as an aside, incredibly tall).
