So, as I wrote elsewhere, I figured I would use the next couple of quiet-on-the-weddings-front months to blog a lot more personal and other ‘not wedding photography’ work, just ‘cos, well I can. A change is as good as a rest they say, and it is nice to mix things up a bit now and then…
So: Some portraits of four extremely talented musicians and song-writers from York, in no particular order. Chris Helme, GT Turbo and David Ward Maclean – Taken over the last year or so for various projects and publications – check out each of their music when you can. They are all great at what they do and the real deal.
Oh, and future/past brides/grooms and lovers of awesome wedding photography stay tuned – I shall be posting some more wedding and engagement photography work very soon…

bloody lovely Mr Gaines!
Excellent stuff Andy. I particularly like the nod to the inside cover of Harvest (Neil reflected in a doorknob) in the picture of Mr Helme.
I bloody love these.
Wow! 🙂
Beautiful work, Andy. Love em.
It says these comments are arranged in ‘social ranking’ order!
What the devil does that mean? And am I at the top or the bottom here?
Either way it is wrong. Unless it is at the bottom.
