(and for making us look so good – ha ha ha!)
Talk soon. xxx”
Brandon and Julie got married in Marrakesh, Morrocco. Just them and their closest friends, one of whom also officiated the wedding!

It was Brandon who got in touch. Brandon was planning a truly unique celebration for his and Julie’s wedding day. Despite never visiting Marrakesh before, they knew it was the place to hold their wedding, and it was perfect! Marrakesh wasn’t their first stop, along their way from their home in Dallas, Texas they’d headed to a Yoga retreat with some of their closest friends, and fellow Yogis. It was this awesome group of friends continued their journey to Marrakesh to celebrate Julie and Brandon’s very intimate, and very special wedding.
It was breakfast on the rooftop terrace of the stunning Ryad Dyor when I first was welcomed into this close group of friends. Julie and Brandon had private hire of the Ryad for a few days. Brandon knows how to plan! He’d organised a tour of the Medina where we weaved in and out of the souks and saw behind the scenes. Lunch on the rooftop terrace of El Fenn was perfect for relaxation, followed by an afternoon at the Yves Saint Laurent Museum where we managed to do some portrait shots amongst the stunning gardens. The evening before the big day was spent together for more fantastic food and company, watching the sun go down.
The following day was the wedding. They’d hired Maria from Partymaroc to plan their event and she did such an amazing job! The ceremony was to be held around the pool area in the open air with the focal point a magnificent cream and orange flower arch. As the wedding party assembled, they indulged in the Moroccan tradition of almond milk whilst listening to the traditional Moroccan music as played by an Andalus Trio. The ceremony was led by the couples good friend. Throughout the ceremony the words spoken were so heartfelt and meaningful, the couple had written their own vows, and they were straight from the heart.
A traditional tea ceremony followed the ceremony, the calm was soon broken by the wild party antics of Gnawa musicians who lit up the room with their infectious music and moves! We then all moved to the rooftop terrace for the evening meal and party. Despite small in numbers, the evening was a blast! Belly dancers, Gnawa musicians and a DJ kept the party going until the early hours!
A perfect three days with this amazing couple and their friends.
