Choosing your wedding photographer is one of the most important decisions you will be making.  It is the photographs that help you relieve the day, it’s what you pass onto future generations to show them who you were, how you felt, how you loved and who loved you.  It’s hard to pin point, but my style has been described as natural, creative, artistic, documentary photography.  But no matter the descriptions and categories, what matters to me is documenting who you are and how you felt.

I don’t believe a photographer should direct and take over the day.  I fit seamlessly into the background.  Sometimes people forget I’m there, but once they get their images they know I was not only ‘just there’, but I managed to capture every moment that mattered.  As an award winning photographer you can rest assured that all you need to do on your day is relax and have fun.  I’ll take care of making sure you get the perfect images to treasure forever.

Shustoke Barn Wedding Photography – Award Winning

The wedding venue

Shustoke Barn is an 18^th Century Barn made from red brick featuring oak beams and flagstone floors inside.  It is quaint, rustic yet spacious and modern.  The space inside is amazing, but also there is plenty of areas outside too for you and your wedding guests. Main doors lead onto landscaped court yards, or you can wander the grounds where the olive trees grow. make for a beautiful backdrop to your day. We can make amazing pictures in the venue and wander amongst the scenic grounds where olive trees grow.

Shustoke Barn is a great central location – not far from both Coventry and Birmingham, making travel easy for your guests and also that these cities have plenty of accommodation options.  Despite being near such major towns, Shustoke Barn is also rural, located in Coleshill, Warwickshire with stunning views of the countryside. The ceremony often takes place in the large open room of the main barn with its high ceilings and exposed wooden beams. The stone floor is heated so not matter what time of year you are getting married, this is the perfect venue.

Shustoke Barn has the capacity for 140 at your ‘wedding breakfast’. The in house catering team cook up some of the best meals I’ve ever had!  All couples getting married at a Cripps & co venue are recommended to come along to one of their ‘Feast’ nights and sample some of the food on offer. The gallery offers views of  the open kitchen where you can see your food being prepared. The room looks amazing illuminated with the ambient lighting including fairy lights and candles. During the meal i don’t tend to take photos of guests – no one really wants to see themselves eating! But i’ll be there for speeches, and it may be that between courses works out as the perfect time to slip away and make some couples portraits.  Basically leave it with me, i’ll judge the right time on the day based on what’s happening, the light, weather and any other factor!  I’ve been doing this for years, I’ll make sure all goes perfectly.After the meal, there is a change to head back to the courtyards and make the most of the fire-pits, either for warmth and ambience, or classic marshmallow toasting!

THE EVENING PARTY

All this amazing space to dance the night away with up to 200 guests.  Whether you opt for a band, a DJ or a combination of both, you and your guests will have the most amazing party.  I offer unlimited coverage – this means I cover all your day. That’s no departing after the cake cutting or first dance, i’m on that dance-floor with you and your guests capturing the wild antics and crazy moves. This is when some of the best photos are made and moments you will want to remember.
