I love my job! I get to spend the photographing thew most amazing couples who are totally in love, having the time of their life with their family and friends. I’m fortunate enough to shoot across the UK, Europe, and the rest of the world. Therefore I have worked at a range of venues across the UK and have included some of what I consider to be the best UK wedding venues below.

The best UK wedding venues – photographic style
I’m an award-winning wedding photographer based in York, UK. I am a story-maker who focuses on a natural style of photography, capturing moments as they happen. I am unobtrusive, but you can rest assured that I will capture all the moments that matter whilst you get on with enjoying your wedding day.
My style of photography is documentary – in practice that means I don’t direct the day, I document it. No awkward posing or recreating moments for the camera, I shoot things as they happen. That means you have natural candid photography that gets each real moment. Scotland is one of my favourite places for weddings, and it’s definitely a great place for lovers of stunning scenery and castles! My favourite venue is Borthwick Castle – a place you can hire exclusively. It’s within easy reach of Edinburgh making it easy to reach for you and your guests. Other Scottish wedding venues with checking out include Drumtochy Castle, Crossbasket Castle, Niedpath Castle, Clewes Castle, Dalhousie Castle and Winton Castle.
With regard to Wales, Gileston Manor is a particular amazing venue well worth checking out.
Destination Weddings
Over the last year or two, I have loved shooting more and more destination weddings. Some of my favourite destinations have included venues such as the Beldi, El Fenn and the Palais Sebban in Marrakesh in Morroco, Castillo di Castelo, the Hotel Ravello, Hotel Caruso and Isole del Garda on the Italian Amalfi Coast, Askershus Festning, Oslo in Norway, Chapelle Expiatoire in Paris and other French venues including Chateau Rigaud.
