I’ve been incredibly lucky to have spent the last year travelling the world photographing weddings. Some of these have been to the couple’s home countries and the cities where they live, and others have been destination weddings – like when I visited Paris to document Lourdes & Graham’s beautiful elopement.
Lourdes & Graham’s love and care for each other is so obvious as soon as you meet them and they are just awesome to be around. They travelled from New York to Paris with their closest friends and family and the whole day was pretty much perfect: Getting ready a stones throw from the Arc de Triomphe, an incredibly emotional ceremony at the beautiful Chapelle Expiatoire, before rounding the day off in style with a meal, dancing, games and cigars at Le Maceo restaurant. The above image, taken when Lourdes & Graham snuck out to practice their first dance under the arches in the Jardin du Palais Royal could well be one of my favourite shots of the year I think 🙂
I’m so thankful I get to do this, and call it work – and I still can’t quite believe I have photographed more weddings in Paris than in York this year! I loved being a Chapelle Expiatoire wedding photographer. Massive love to all you awesome couples who choose me to photograph your weddings! x
High fives to these awesome suppliers for their amazing work on the day:
