Kate & Sam got married on a balmy Spring Day at the fantastic Wold Top Brewery in North Yorkshire. This great venue, situated on a farm in the middle of nowhere in the North York Wolds, not only brews delicious beer (which made great wedding favours), it was also the perfect location for their relaxed and fun wedding!
The whole day was relaxed and fun from start to finish and was a total delight to be a part of. Working with the lovely couples that I get to call my clients is what makes this job (if i can even call it that!) so rewarding – and Kate & Sam were no exception. I’m not sure I’ve seen a more smily, happy bride as Kate – and I don’t think the two of them stopped grinning from the word go until I left at 1am. The very last frame I took on the day (the last image in this post) was one of my favourite frames of 2014 – and wouldn’t have been possible to make until most of the guest had left – just another reason I always stay photographing weddings right to the end!
Thanks so much for having me along to document your wedding guys – and, like all my couples, for putting your trust in me and for letting me just do my thing on your big day – to just capture and document it as I saw it. You rule!
